Insurance

After careful consideration, we made the decision to not participate with any health insurance companies at this time, though we are considered "out of network." If you are interested in utilizing your insurance, we recommend that you contact your insurance company to determine what your out-of-network mental health benefits are. Whereas some insurance companies do not reimburse out-of-network benefits, others reimburse 100% of out-of-network charges. We can provide you with a detailed receipt that you can submit for potential reimbursement of your costs. When contacting your insurance provider, you may want to ask the following questions:

  • What are my mental health benefits? Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits? Do I have teletherapy benefits?

  • Do I need preauthorization or a referral for psychotherapy sessions?

  • How many mental health sessions does my health insurance cover each year?

  • Do I have to meet a deductible, and if so, what is this amount?

  • What is my co-pay for mental health sessions (sample billing (CPT) codes: diagnostic assessment: 90791; psychotherapy office visit (45 minutes): 90834)?

  • What is the reimbursement amount per therapy session for an out-of-network provider?

We ask that clients make payment by debit/credit card at the time of service.
