No Surprises Act and Good Faith Estimate

 

The purpose of the Federal "No Surprises Act" is to ensure that patients understand the costs associated with their care and, as a result, reduce the likelihood of any "surprise" medical bills. Although the cost of services are discussed during the telephone screening and subsequent informed consent for services, clients are entitled to a written estimate of the cost of services. If you wish to receive a written copy of this "Good Faith Estimate," please discuss this with Dr. Bagley and she will provide you with one.
